Meet Your Trainer

Melissa Beeko

Melissa Beeko is a Senior Leader with experience in both UK and international school settings. She began her career as a Primary Teacher and Middle Leader in various schools across London before moving to Brazil, where she took on a Senior Leadership position. In this role she was responsible for the professional development of Teachers, Assistant staff and leaders across two schools.

Melissa has held a variety of Middle Leadership roles including curriculum leadership and coaching. She has a deep understanding of the nuances of effective leadership and is passionate about developing impactful and inspiring leaders. As a Senior Leader she has spent much of her time supporting Middle Leaders new to their role, helping them to develop an understanding of the principles of effective leadership, and how these principles can be applied in practice.
Melissa has written blogs for COBIS and contributed to its Early Careers Teacher programme. She enjoys working with other schools and has delivered training to local institutions.
In her spare time Melissa can be found playing the saxophone, travelling – or napping.
