Our range of IMYC Professional Development courses for teachers support you as you guide the of learning and development of the learners in your school.

IMYC Drop-in Sessions
The IMYC Virtual Drop-in Sessions are facilitated by the Head of the IMYC, Lee Hendricks, and free to attend for all IMYC educators. These hour-long sessions are an opportunity for you to ask questions, connect with other international educators and share ideas!
Orientation Series
The IMYC engages learners aged 11 to 14-years-old and focuses on the specific needs of the teenage brain. Before starting to implement the IMYC, watching this Orientation Series is essential for all teachers and leaders.

Getting Started With the IMYC provides guided planning activities that familiarise you with the structure and contents of IMYC's Big Idea units. You will learn the key essentials for implementing your first unit with your learners and preparing the learning environment to facilitate learning.

Level 1: Implementing
This Level 1: Implementing course is essential for all teachers engaged in the implementation of the IMYC and is designed for those who have already completed our free Orientation Series (although this is not required). The course introduces the seven foundations and cover the knowledge, skills and understanding required for effective curriculum delivery.

Level 2: Embedding
This Level 2: Embedding course is designed for teachers who have completed the Level 1 course and their first year of teaching the IMYC. Teachers are supported beyond their initial implementation of the curriculum to extend their knowledge, skills and understanding of the seven foundations to further explore how these can be embedded to achieve the school’s shared vision of learning.
